Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the standards of conduct expected of all users of the fAIk.life platform ("Platform"). It is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.

By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

2. Permitted Use

The Platform is intended for lawful personal, professional, and business use. You may use the Platform to:

  • Create and manage AI model profiles.
  • Generate, edit, and share content for legitimate purposes.
  • Interact with other users and creators in a respectful manner.
  • Explore and experiment with AI capabilities responsibly.

3. Prohibited Activities

3.1 Illegal and Harmful Content

You must not use the Platform to create, distribute, or facilitate:

  • Content that is illegal under any applicable law.
  • Content that incites or promotes violence, terrorism, or self-harm.
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualises or exploits minors.
  • Defamatory, harassing, or threatening content targeting any individual or group.
  • Content that facilitates illegal discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.

3.2 Criminal Use

The Platform must not be used for any criminal activity, including but not limited to:

  • Fraud, identity theft, or financial scams.
  • Money laundering or terrorist financing.
  • Coordinating or promoting illegal acts.
  • Distributing illegal substances or services.

3.3 Misinformation and Deception

You must not use the Platform to:

  • Generate or spread deliberately false information intended to deceive others.
  • Create deepfakes, synthetic media, or impersonations designed to mislead, defraud, or harm individuals.
  • Produce content that falsely represents an affiliation with fAIk.life or any other organisation.
  • Create spam, phishing content, or fraudulent communications.

3.4 Deepfake and Impersonation Restrictions

  • You must not create AI-generated content that impersonates real individuals without their express, documented consent.
  • Non-consensual deepfakes (NCII - Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery) are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination and reporting to authorities.
  • Any content that uses the likeness of a real person must be clearly labeled as AI-generated and parody/tribute where applicable.

3.5 Privacy Violations

You must not:

  • Input personal information about third parties without their knowledge or consent.
  • Use the Platform to build tools or systems for unauthorised surveillance or tracking of individuals.
  • Attempt to re-identify anonymised data.
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect personal data from others using Platform tools.

3.6 Intellectual Property Infringement

You must not:

  • Use the Platform to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from copyrighted material without authorisation.
  • Infringe the trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
  • Use the Platform to circumvent digital rights management (DRM) or copy protection systems.

3.7 Security and Platform Integrity

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, its systems, or other users' accounts.
  • Introduce malware, viruses, or malicious code into the Platform.
  • Use the Platform to generate malware, ransomware, exploits, or other malicious software.
  • Conduct denial-of-service attacks or other actions that disrupt or degrade Platform performance.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Platform in a way that exceeds reasonable use or disrupts normal operations.

4. Responsible AI Content Creation

We expect creators to approach AI tools responsibly:

  • Transparency: Clearly label all AI-generated content as such.
  • Consent: Ensure you have the rights or consent for any base imagery or data used to train or generate models.
  • Accuracy: Do not use AI to create misleading representations of physical reality for fraudulent purposes.
  • Ethics: Avoid generating content that reinforces harmful stereotypes or promotes hate speech.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of a potential violation of this AUP, please report it to us at:

6. Consequences of Violation

We reserve the right to take any of the following actions in response to a violation:

  • Issue a formal warning.
  • Temporarily suspend access to the Platform.
  • Permanently terminate your account.
  • Remove or restrict access to specific content.
  • Report illegal activity to relevant law enforcement authorities.

Termination for violations of this AUP does not entitle you to a refund.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
